Bella Charca is an exclusive and highly sought-after subdivision in Nolanville, Texas. It is a master-planned community with varying lot sizes for a wide variety of single-family homes.
There are currently over 1,000 planned lots throughout the gated community, with plenty of lots available. The homes all have between 2,000 and 5,000 square feet with nearly every upgrade you can imagine. This isn’t your average neighborhood; this is a luxury community. Honestly, Bella Charca is probably one of the nicest, well-maintained communities between Belton and Killeen.
There’s more to the subdivision than beautiful and luxurious homes. It also has over 40 acres of park and open grassy areas for you to enjoy. Whether you want to lounge on the couch in your glamourous living room or take a stroll along the well-lit sidewalks, there’s something for everyone.
Where is Bella Charca located?

This beautiful and exclusive subdivision is located in Bell County between Harker Heights and Belton on the south side of Nolanville, TX. In general, it’s fairly close to Killeen, Fort Hood, and not too far of a drive from Austin.
While this community is off the beaten path, it’s not hard to find.
Less than a mile from the Interstate 14 (formerly known as US 190), the community has easy access to everything Central Texas has to offer. As you exit I14 in Nolanville, head south on Old Nolanville Rd past the Cefco and Circle K gas stations (there’s some new construction of a shopping complex as well). After you cross over the bridge at South Nolan Creek, you’ll see the elegant gate to Bella Charca on your left. If you find yourself staring at Nolanville Elementary School, you’ve gone too far.
An exclusive gated community close to amenities.
While Nolanville continues to grow, most of the residents shop in the neighboring cities, such as Harker Heights, which has the Market Heights Shopping Center.
However, if you’re the more adventurous type, you’ll find countless parks, trails, and lakes throughout the area. This community is only 5 minutes to Stillhouse Hollow Reservoir, in which residents can fish, swim, boat, camp, and do countless other activities.
For the military relocating to the area, they’ll find that Bella Charca is close enough to Fort Hood for a short commute but far enough away that they won’t feel like they’re living on post. From my experience as a military spouse, it’s an outstanding balance of military and civilian life.
There’s an HOA, but it’s worth it.
A Bella Charca Homeowner Association exists to enforce planned standards and establish guidelines for subdivision activities.

But the benefit you’ll most likely realize is how well the open and shared spaces are maintained. The grass in the local parks is always lush green and trimmed; the ponds are beautiful and clean year-round.
While some may scoff at strict HOA rules, you’ll at least rest assured that your neighbors will always maintain their lawns, driveways, and homes. The covenants provide comprehensive guidelines that regulate the upkeep of all homes in the community to preserve the area’s beauty.
As you drive to your home, you’ll notice that the community looks exceptionally wonderful and immaculate. It’s everything you’d expect in a luxury community.
Buy a lot and have a custom-built home.
With hundreds of large lots available, you’ll find the perfect tract of land to build your new home.
The lots range from anywhere between 1/4 of an acre to a full acre. The prices of these lots are equally as unique, with prices starting around $50,000, depending on the size you want.
You can choose whichever builder you’d like to construct your new home. Several builders, including Flintrock Homes, A&G Homes, and Cameo Homes, have built numerous homes in various phases.
The best part is the community is still growing, and you can buy a lot now and have a custom-built home built whenever you want!
Is Bella Charca right for you?
That’s for you to decide. I suggest that you give it a look if luxury living is what you’re after. Something about this community makes it feel like home no matter where you’re coming from.
